The Rainforest Lodge is a 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home perched on the edge of a 150-acre, private, forested wildlife preserve. The Lodge offers the best in seamless indoor/outdoor living, with spacious, covered outdoor dining and sitting areas on the upper deck and outside the ground floor kitchen, which is adjacent to the pool patio. There is also an indoor living room on the upper floor and a small office behind it.
Two bedrooms and a large full bath complete the upper floor. The first bedroom, next to the bathroom, has lots of closet space and sliders that lead out to the living area on the upper deck. This bedroom sleeps up to four people. For those who love to be close to nature, we offer the screened-in Jungle Bedroom which sleeps up to three people.
The Master Bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor. The bedroom, which sleeps two, has its own small private patio looking out over the valley and is convenient to the swimming pool. There is a two-car garage and a large, secure storage bodega on this level, as well as the fully-equipped kitchen which opens onto the covered eating area and pool patio.
The expansive views of the rainforest and the ocean beyond will take your breath away. We guarantee it! You won’t even need binoculars to see a myriad of birds and wildlife from this site. From The Lodge, you can walk for 15 minutes to capture the spectacular Pacific Ocean sunsets at our MIrador, or head out in the other direction for a hike down to our rainforest waterfall.
We rent The Lodge for retreats, reunions and family vacations. It is available for rent on a weekly, monthly or multi-monthly basis for $1200/week during low season (April 1 – Nov 30), and $1500/week during high season (Dec 1 – March 31).
