We are creating a rainforest preserve (RFP) in Costa Rica to protect thousands of indigenous, and in some cases, endangered, species of trees, plants, animals, birds and reptiles.

We are an environmentally conscious community. Since the purchase of the initial parcel in 2000, the RFP has been dedicated to the principles of sustainable development, furthering the efforts of the (Path of the Tapir) biological corridor, working on enhancing the reserve habitat, and connecting with other environmentally conscious efforts in the Dominical area. Now consisting of three parcels with over 200 acres, our goals remain the same, with experience giving way to new and inspiring ideas.

Sustainable development is maintaining a delicate balance between the human need to improve lifestyles and feeling of well-being on one hand, and preserving natural resources and ecosystems, on which we and future generations depend.
