We are creating a rainforest preserve (RFP) in Costa Rica to protect thousands of indigenous, and in some cases, endangered, species of trees, plants, animals, birds and reptiles.

With eight years of planning behind us, we have developed a whole range of habitat enhancement, wildlife observation areas, and  trail system plans for the reserve.

There is no hurry with any of these, since the reserve is a magical place to visit as is, with the rainforest maturing all the time. Our caretaker is working on projects all the time, and as other members of the community wish to add their energy to the projects  we will continue to enhance the natural community.

We are looking for donations to support the continuation of our 200+ acre rainforest preserve here on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.  Recently, Dominical has been the site of tremendous growth and development.  Eight years ago we purchased this large parcel of land inoder to protect this precious pathway for animals and preserve the growth of many primary trees. We are looking for an individual or a group of committed people  to purchase Casa Diamonte and make it available for rent to persons wishing to attend retreats in the rainforest. Casa Diamonte can either be enjoyed by the new owners as their own property in the rainforest preserve as well as an investment property to be rented out to participants of retreat center.

The Rainforest Preserve is situated in the hills above Dominical. The land forms a C-shaped ridge and the valley below. The land consists of over 200 acres of primary and secondary forests with streams, and mountains above. Our land is bordered by hundreds more acres of privately protected reserve areas.

One of my favorite aspects of our rainforest  project, is seeing the joy others experience through their connection with the natural wonders of Costa Rica. Helping families, individuals, and small groups to have their ultimate adventure has been a focus of mine since even before we purchased our preserve.
